New colorful paintings in the Zukunftsraum
Paintbrushes, paint, drop cloths — everything was ready for the project. Our Bufdis Sarah and Theresa took advantage of this year’s summer break to give our “Zukunftsraum” a fresh coat of paint.
Anyone entering the small conference room will immediately notice the new mural on the left-hand side. In the foreground is a bicycle carrying a basket of colorful flowers on both the front and back. Next to it is a city scene depicting house facades and benches for resting under the trees. On the opposite side, the formerly white cabinet has been repainted: there, you can now see a beautiful, colorful flower meadow with clouds in the sky.
For over a week, Sarah and Theresa worked on beautifying the "Zukunftsraum." They created a colorful, appealing decoration that makes people want to spend time in the room. Before that, they drew the designs themselves. In their design, they placed importance on themes of sustainability, nature, and diversity, as well as a connection to the Oststadt neighborhood.
